With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlton William Marshall of Saxis, Virginia, born in Sanford, Virginia, who passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Guy Marshall and Edna Shaw Marshall; his former wife Barbara Walker Marshall; his wife Sharon Jester Marshall; and his sister Joyce Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Moyer (Jim) of Miona and Guy Marshall of Sanford; his grandchildren, Kasey Moyer Chanov (Mike), Rylee Elizabeth Marshall, James Paul Moyer III (Anna), Dylan William Marshall and Duane Christopher Read (Chelsea); and his great grandchildren, Kiprian James Chanov and Lillian Belle Chanov.
