He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Linton; and his parents, Dulaney Linton and Beatrice Thomas Linton. He is survived by: his children, Janet Matthews (Jimmy) of Sanford, VA and Larry Dale Linton of Saxis, VA. He is also survived by two grandchildren, two great-granddaughters and a great-great-granddaughter.
