He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmer Anson Evans and Buena Hobbs Evans. He is survived by: his wife Alisa Evans of Scottsburg; his daughters, Amanda Kirk (Jonathan) of Lynchburg and Brittany Mugleston (Bryden) of Nashville, TN; his grandsons, Evan and Ethan Kirk; and his siblings, Jewell Young (Doc) of Coeburn, VA, Penny Combs (Glen) of Castlewood, VA and Dr. Barry Evans (Marla) of Winston Salem, NC. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
