We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2023, at the age of 42, Benjamin Joseph Hughes of Scottsville, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Joseph; and his grandparents, Herbert, Lila Jones, Joseph and Margaret Hughes.

He is survived by : his mother Linda Jones Hughes; his wife Allison; his children, Graham (Staci), Evelyn, Molly and Miller Hughes; his sister Candice; his brother-in-law Ron Clark; his niece Kristen Ragland (Austin); his nephews, Peyton and Dylan Clark; his great-nephews, Easton, Trenton, Brooks and Lane Ragland; his great-aunt Irene Hughes; and his close friend Phillip Herndon. He is also survived by his family and friends.

To honor Ben's legacy, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Fluvanna Baptist Church or Hospice of the Piedmont.
