It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Thompson Roberts (Scottsville, Virginia), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Bernice Thompson leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy; her son-in-law Alfie; her granddaughter Jessica; and her sister Audrey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (4422 Antioch Rd, Scottsville, VA 24590).
