It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Augustus Drewry of Seaford, Virginia, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Drewry, Sr. and Edith Warren Drewry; and his brother Howard Drewry, Jr. (Joan). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jones Drewry; his sons, Franklin Drewry (Kim) of Windsor, Eugene Drewry (Heather) of Seaford and Wayne Strickland (Kim) of Seaford; his grandchildren, Melissa Arneault (Josh), Danny Drewry (Amy), Dean Drewry (Ashley), Thomas Drewry (Elizabeth), Lauren Irby, Paige Williams (Cody), Courtney Drewry and Jami Kello (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Brooklyn, Camryn, Trent, Brody, Easton, Trey and Waylon; and his siblings, Billy Drewry (Rosalie) of Wakefield, Emmett Drewry (Lizzie) of Waverly and Thomas Drewry (Joanne) of Northern Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Horton Wreath Society.
