He was predeceased by: his parents, Hertford "Skeets" Boyd and Elizabeth Mitchell Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Mary Virginia Forrest Boyd; his daughters, Monica Boyd Francisco of Ellicott City, Karen Boyd Vest of Williamsburg, Virginia and Adored; his grandchildren, Julia Matthews (Austin) and Kyle Francisco; his great grandchild Dax Matthews; and his brother David Wayne Boyd (Virginia) of Hampton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
