She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Howell and Alizie May Burggess Howell; her daughter Angie Burton; and her siblings, Rusty, Frank Howell, Virgie and Josie Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal Wright (Anthony) of Selma and Rodney Mullins (Amy) of Clifton Forge; her siblings, Ocie Willis of Roanoke, Maudeane Howell of Covington, Ruth Alvarez of Roanoke, Freel Howell of Richlands and David Lee Howell of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Tony Wright (Wynter), Sierra Paxton (Bradley), Cameron Wright, Ashlee Mullins, Miki Mullins, Nikki Updike (Cody) and Terrence Burton; her stepchildren, Michelle Broughman and Chris Broughman; and her sister-in-law Sally Broughman. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
