He is survived by: his sons, David Gayle (Jessica) and Michael P. Gayle (Elizabeth); his stepson Bruce Newcomb (Christine); his sister Betty Walden; and his grandchildren, Clay, Brandy, Amanda, Tricia, Casey Newcomb, Courtney, Kimberly, Michael Gayle Jr., Ethan and Crystal Gayle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
