We bid farewell to Nina Belle Sprouse of Shacklefords, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 26, 2025 at the age of 95. Nina touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert L. McDaniel and Fannie B. McDaniel (Fincham); her husband Willie James Sprouse; her siblings, Ruth, Edward, Genevieve and Katherine; her children, Gilbert Lee Sprouse and Willie; and her brothers, James Sprouse Jr. (Rosa Cornelia Chappell), Robert Milton Sprouse (Faye Lucille Mitchell), Ronnie Charles Sprouse and Jimmy Stewart Sprouse.
She is survived by: her children, Nina "Frances" Bowen (Bill), Gerald "Jeff" Jefferson Sprouse (Cheryl), Luther Raymond Sprouse (Pam) and Elizabeth "Maddy" Madeline Buie (Lacy); and her close friend Barbara Celis. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg.
