With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Nathan Canode Jr. of Shawsville, Virginia, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Nathan, Sr. and Elizabeth LaFon Canode; his wife Carol Ellen Rucker Canode; and his grandson William Nathan Canode. He is survived by : his son Gregory Taylor Canode (Kristi); his grandchildren, Taylor and Luke; his sister Becky Hutton; his siblings-in-law, Jamie and Christie Rucker; and his close friend Judy Purks. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
