With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Robert Wright of Shawsville, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Shelby Wright and Bonnie McAllister Wright; and his siblings, Lewis Sawyers, Richard Allen Sawyers, Rita Hall Debord, Anita Sawyers and Sheila Sawyers.

He is survived by : his wife Frances Wright; his son Robert Wright of Shawsville, VA; his sister Patricia Smith; his grandsons, Matthew Wright (Kayla Carter) and Mark Wright (Rene McIntire); and his great grandchildren, Dekin Wright, Catelyn Wright, Sebastian Wright, Curtis Carter and Roxie Carter.
