He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Louemma Sullivan Trent. He is survived by: his father George S. Trent; his wife Lori Mathews Trent; his sons, Justin Trent (Mary) and Chris Trent (Nicole); his grandchildren, Micayla Trent, Megan Trent, Isabelle Trent, Emma Trent, Gabrielle Trent, Aislin Trent, Carter Trent, Camden Trent and Caleb Trent; his sister Rhonda Harris (Mark); his parents-in-law, Joseph T. Mathews Sr. and Janet Mathews; and his siblings-in-law, Julie Wheeler (Johnny) and Joseph T. Mathews Jr. (Lorie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Elkton (115 Nicholson Rd, Elkton, VA 22827).
