She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Alger and Elyon Housden Alger; and her husband James Elwood Taylor. She is survived by: her stepfather Berlyn Dofflemyer; her children, Larry E. "Hobby" Taylor, Gary A. "Red" Taylor (Anita) and Wanda Foltz (Billy) of Shenandoah; her nieces, Sue Huffer (Dennis), Trudie Lucas (Roger) and Lois Hensley; and her nephew Lynn Herring (Lisa).
