He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Clarkson of Shenandoah, VA; his children, Gary Wayne Clarkson, Jr. (Kathryn), Jennifer Marie Halper (Jeff) and Daniel Eugene Clarkson (Kimberly); his grandchildren, David, Gary T., Benjamin, Anna, Matthew, Rebecca, Lila, Brenna, Kenneth, Andrew, Joseph, Sophie, Henry and Lena; and his brother James William Clarkson, Jr..
