She was predeceased by: her parents, Con Ferrell and Mary Florence Merica Ferrell; her children, Ralph L. Tappy, Jr. and Patti Ann Tappy Parks; and her siblings, Owen Ferrell, Wayne Ferrell, Helen Painter, Virginia "Jenny" Morris, Louise Royer, Nina Morris and Elsie Miller.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Rebecca Shenk (David Shenk) of McGaheysville and Jessica Tappy (Brandon Dyer) of Elkton; and her great grandchildren, Georgia Shenk, Levi Dyer and Benjamin Shenk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shenandoah Volunteer Fire Company, 201 Pennsylvania Avenue, Shenandoah, VA, in her memory.
