We announce the death of John Leonard West Jr. of Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. West and Mary E. King West. He is survived by: his wife Deirdre Ridenour West; and his children, Mary Anne Fernandez, John Douglas West, Diana L. Colgan, Joan Hart and Carol Engelbrecht. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
