He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde E. Carter, Sr. and Lucille Carter (Noe); his son Michael Wayne Carter; his sister Fonda Lee Carter; and his brother-in-law Donald Ratcliff.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dawn Campbell (Brian), Jeffrey Neal Carter and Carrie Ann Hart (Casey); his grandchildren, Brittany Ann Carter, Ashley Dawn Carter, Sarah Katlyn DeLoach, Joshua Owen Truslow, Justin Michael DeLoach, Lincoln Hart, Oaklee Hart, Knoxx Hart and Abigail Hart; his great grandchildren, Olivia Dawn Carter and Gracie Renee Greaver; his siblings, Donna Davies (Kenny), Sheryl Ratcliff and Larry Carter; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
