He is survived by: his siblings, Alberta Page and Billy Powell; and his children, Reginia Powell of Alexandria, VA, Linda Badie (John) of Dale City, VA, Stephanie Jones (Vincent) of North Garden, VA, Wendy Thompson (Dennis) of Dale City, VA, Walter Powell Jr. (Linda) of Manassas Park, VA, Deborah Wheatley (Wayne) of Dale City, VA, Tasha Walker (Bruce) of Springfield, VA and Amendo "Tony" Jones of Washington, DC.. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
