He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Sterling Shifflett; his stepfather Steve Stover; and his grandparents, Martha Gilley (Stanley), Ward Stover and Winnie Stover.
He is survived by: his mother Dianna Arbogast Stover of Harrisonburg; his daughters, Dezaray Ware (Bryan) and Autumn Shifflett; his grandchildren, Faith, Skylar and Willow Ware; his brother Cole Stover; his parents-in-law, Wilbert "Buddy" and Nancy Strawderman; his siblings-in-law, Rita Conley (Steve) and Paul "Charlie" Sherman; his stepmother Billie Joe Stover; his brothers, Jeremy Lawson, Marty Pennington, Bobby Ketterman and Ricky Howdyshell; and his aunt Charlotte Wester.
