We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2024, at the age of 92, Anne Griffin Thacker of Smithfield, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Floyd Griffin and Musa Kane Britt; her husband Shelton Lane Thacker; and her son William Randall "Randy" Thacker. She is survived by : her children, Michael R. Thacker and Sharon Thacker Carawan; her grandson Justin Carawan; and her siblings, William Floyd Griffin Jr., Ronald G. West, Jean Newsome and Carolyn Epps.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 97, Smithfield VA 23431.
