We bid farewell to Charlotte Dean Greer of Smithfield, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 21, 2025 at the age of 82. Charlotte touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest William Greer; her parents, Charlotte Beatrice Darden Whitley and Joel Alton Whitley; and her sisters, Martha Raye and Alice Faye Whitley.

She is survived by: her brother William Whitley (Bill); her sister-in-law Debbie; and her daughters, Pamela Spivey, Elaine Hogan (Tim), Barbara Smith (Joe), Sandra McDonald (Mike), Deborah Hunter (Chris) and Kimberley Sowden (John). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
