He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Carroll; his sons, James Brian Carroll (Heather) and Richard Bruce Carroll (Dawn); his grandchildren, James Milton Carroll, III (Taylor), Leah Elizabeth Barham Carroll, Jessie Ann Barham Carroll, Brandon Butler and Kaitlyn Butler; his cousin Patricia Smith (Bill); and his close friends, William "Billy Joe" J. Holleman and Cliff Hall. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
