With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marsha McClelland Odom of Smithfield, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 73. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marsha may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Odom; her son Ryan Odom; her parents, Elizabeth Moren McClelland and Edward Lee McClelland; and her brothers, Michael McClelland and Mark McClelland.
She is survived by: her son Justin Larry Odom (Vicky); and her grandson Andrew Justin Odom. She is also survived by extended family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (201 Cedar St, Smithfield, VA 23430). A burial will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at the St. Luke's Memorial Park (14477 Benns Church Blvd, Smithfield, VA 23430).
