He is survived by: his wife Karen Gayle Ployd; his children, Emily Grace Ployd and Jonathan Christopher Ployd; his grandchildren, Rowan Christopher Ployd and Esme'Olivia Ployd; his brother Adam Douglas Ployd (Diane); his nephew Isaac Christopher Ployd; and his in-laws, Carl and Patsy Barlow.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to start a Scholarship fund in his honor.
