With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ramona Townsend of Smithfield, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ramona left this world on May 25, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Byron "PaPa" Townsend; her parents, Lillie Owens and Raymond Banks; and her siblings, Ellen, Jimmie and Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Tracey Eppolito (Jerry) and Mickey Townsend; and her grandchildren, Faith, Grace and Drew. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A reception will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Family Home (138 Holloway Dr, Smithfield, VA 23430).
