She is survived by: her husband David Howell; her children, Matthew Howell and Elizabeth Howell; her granddaughter Lily Howell; and her brother Alan Douglas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (201 Cedar St, Smithfield, VA 23430). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Church's Family Life Center (201 Cedar St, Smithfield, VA 23430).
In lieu of flowers, the Howell family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan's name to the Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Program.
