Virginia Mitchell Willis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Mitchell Willis of Smithfield, Virginia, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Mitchell H. Willis; her brother W. George Mitchell; and her son James A. Willis. She is survived by : her children, Mitchell H. Willis, Jr. (Janice) of Roanoke and Sheila W. Gwaltney (Gerald) of Smithfield. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
