He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Taylor Darden and Mary Turner Darden. He is survived by: his wife Donna Darden; his daughters, Kellie Bennett (Jessie) and Morgan Lambert (Matthew); his grandsons, Noah Potter, Carson Potter and Mason Lambert; and his sisters, Valerie Handy, Mary Rose and Yvonne Piland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1515 S Church St, Smithfield, VA 23430). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at the Uzzell United Methodist Church Cemetery (15363 Uzzell Church Rd, Smithfield, VA 23430).
