He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pompey Holmes and Corena J. Holmes; and his sister Gwendolyn Maxine Holmes. He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah McIntosh, Michael Holmes (Cynthia), Freddie Holmes (Valerie), Vernon Holmes (Dani), Lionel Holmes (Pam) and Demetria "Dee Dee" Holmes (Dale).
