He is survived by: his wife Kathy Perkins Phillips; his children, Alan Chase Phillips of Timberlake, NC and Holly Covington (Luke) of Crystal Hill; his grandchildren, Quinn Covington, Colter Covington and Landon Fears; and his sisters, Wanda Gail Rowan of Virgilina and Susan Carol Daniel (Ken) of Sutherlin.
In lieu of flowers, Scott's family asks that donations be made to God's Pit Crew in his memory.
