It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Davis Parrett of South Boston, Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Davis Parrett and Thelma Wilson Parrett; his former wife Pamela Chandler Parrett; and his sisters, Mary Helen Morefield and Peggy French.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Franklin Parrett; his children, Christy Watts (David) and Chad Parrett (Kathy); his grandchildren, Michael Watts (Kristen), Hunter Watts, Drake Parrett (Blailyn), Chandler Parrett and Tara Parrett; his great grandchildren, Lakelynn Watts, Emberlyn Parrett and Mathias Parrett; his stepdaughters, Lisa Smiley and Kimberly Smiley; his stepgrandchildren, Alex Smiley and Alyssa Smiley; and his sisters, Edith Williamson and Lois Dennis (Bud).
