He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Y. "Pete" Norris and Peggy Norris; and his niece Ashley Elizabeth Partlow. He is survived by: his sister Laura L. Norris of Dillwyn, Virginia; his sons, Will Norris of South Boston and Chris Norris (Alyssa Castro) of Washington, D. C.; and his pet Nala.
