He was predeceased by: his parents, David E. Hudson Sr. and Janie Lowery Hudson; and his brothers, Larry Hudson and Lucky Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Seamster Hudson; his children, Presley Wayne Thompson (Cassie Conner) and Heather Thompson Smith (Presley); his grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Colton Smith, Natalie Conner, Maggie Thompson and Emmy Thompson; his sisters, Anne Wilkerson (Billy) and Louise Mabe; his nieces, Liz Link (Dale), Dena Puryear (Grayson) and W. C. Wilkerson (Ally); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Drew Link (Destiney), Gavin Wilkerson, Holden Wilkerson, Ashley Link (Chad Hyler) and Morgan Cash (Aaron); his close friend Robyn Poole; Colton Link, Easton Link, Jaxon Cash and Cohen Link.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David's memory to a local charity of choice, reflecting his generous spirit and love for giving back to the community.
