He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Link, Sr. and Elizabeth Rogers Link; his siblings, Emmitt Link (Carolyn), William W. Link, Jr. (Jane), Bernice Link and Violet Link Deal; and his nephew Christopher D. Deal.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Link; his daughters, Shelia Link Blackwell (Richard) of Oxford, NC and Karen Link Cole (Kevin) of Alton; his grandchildren, Karson L. Cole (Haley) and Noah Blackwell; his brother Bruce Link (Margaret) of South Boston; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Link of South Boston, Sandra Bales (Wayne) of Halifax and Teresa Pollard of Rustburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
