He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Wilson Stephens and Lillian Reva Epps Stephens. He is survived by: his son Brandon Francis of Danville; his siblings, Bettie Crowder (Louis) of Halifax, Rebecca Long of Halifax, Aubrey Stephens, Jr. (Nancy) of Halifax and Kathy Comer (Ricky) of Halifax; and his siblings' children, Amy Comer, Lisa Phelps, Cindy Marchitto, Deborah Elliott, Dwight Comer, Edwin Long, Jeff Daniel and Preston Crowder.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (1603 Wilborn Ave, South Boston, VA 24592). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Road Baptist Church (3130 Mountain Rd, Halifax, VA 24558).
