She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roosevelt Beverly and Bertha Irene Minter Beverly; her siblings, Arthur (Geneva), Charles (Donna), Albert, Nellie Taylor and Estelle Dean (Burl); her children, Kimberly Mangrum and Robert Baber Jr.; and her grandson Daniel Robert Baber.
She is survived by: her sister Myrtle Hudson (John); her children, Anthony Baber (Amy) of Jefferson, GA, Carla Sparks of Danville, VA, Renee Puryear (Steve Noblin) of South Boston, VA, Kevin Chaney (Geegi) of South Boston, VA and Keith Chaney of South Boston, VA; and her grandchildren, Jessica Mangrum, Brandi Thomason (Josh), Mandi Rosenoff (Nick), Michael Mangrum, Christopher Chaney, Ryan Puryear, Alina Chaney, Rebecca Thompson (Matt), Allison Baber and Adam Chaney. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to God's Pit Crew, 2499 North Main St, Danville, VA 24520 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, where she donated to both for twenty plus years.
