Mark William Womack Obituary

Mark William Womack of South Boston passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age of 44. Born in Halifax County on June 26, 1978, he was the son of William Bass Womack and Judy Comer Rice. Mark loved fishing, hunting and being around his family and friends. He was a hard worker and could build anything, He is survived by his mother, Judy Rice (Kenneth Rice Sr.); paternal grandmother, Barbara Womack; grandparents, Eldon & Josephine Rice; sister, Porsha Conner; special aunt, Jewel Boelte; niece & nephew, Jessica and Jarred Seate; and great niece, Mason Seate. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Rice, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Herbert "Tom" and Janie Comer and paternal grandfather William Junior "Bud" Womack.
