With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ned Swanson Ingram of South Boston, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2026 at the age of 93. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ned shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ned farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Letcher Ingram and Josephine Osborne Ingram; and his spouse Lurlene Annette Riddle Ingram. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Ingram Hall (David) of Greensboro, NC, Tina Ingram Powell (Greg) of Mount Ulla, NC and Kimberly Ingram (Shawn Hudson) of South Boston; his grandchildren, Katie Miller (Matt) of Raleigh, NC, Justin Hall of Greensboro, NC, Gabby Shelton of South Boston and Nick Shelton of South Boston; and his great grandchildren, Quinn and Reid Miller.
