She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Brinkley, Jr. and Rose Emma McGuffin Brinkley; and her stepmother Dorothy Hopkins Brinkley. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Ginn; her daughter Roselyn Ginn; her granddaughter Sienna; her son David Ginn; her stepdaughter BuuChau Le; and her cousins, Evette Hobson and Maurice Hopkins. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the SPCA in Sheila's memory, reflecting her lifelong compassion for all living beings.
