She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Walter Conner and Fannie Irby Conner; and her brothers, Wiley and Garland Conner. She is survived by: her son Charles F. Purcell, Jr. of Townsville, NC; her grandson Charles Tyler Purcell; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Holt of Scottsburg, Rosalie Bray of Halifax One and Sherman Conner of Halifax. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
