Constance Nicholson Smiley Obituary

We announce the death of Constance Nicholson Smiley (South Hill, Virginia), who passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 77. Constance will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Nicholson and Edith Nicholson; and her sister Kaye Nicholson Staley. She is survived by: her husband Leo Smiley; her sons, Chad Smiley (Tammy) of Colonial Heights and Ryan Smiley (Jaime) of Midlothian; her sister Kim Crocker of Flower Mound, TX; her grandchildren, Chase, Tyler, Anna, Danielle, Tucker and Chris; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Camille and Warner. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
