He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Mullen and Annie Hicks Hancock; and his siblings, Rex Hancock, Elaine Howbert and Regina Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Chaney Hancock; his sons, Daryl D. Hancock, Jr. of Severn, MD, David D. Hancock of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Dale D. Hancock of Dunkirk, MD; and his siblings, Donna Hancock of South Hill, Gayle Chapman of Gerrardstown, WVA and Dan Hancock of South Hill.
The family does request no flowers, but memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Hancock's name to the Southside Baptist Church, P. O. Box 295, La Crosse, VA 23950.
