He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Malone and Mary Malone; and his sisters, Jeanette Smith and Linda Allman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Malone; his son Paul Malone (Stacey) of South Hill; his grandchildren, Hayli Nutter (Tyler), Kamryn Malone and Ryker Malone; and his sister Kay Harper (Henry) of Tallahasee, FL..

“Please, accept our sincere condolences. I knew Frankie from 1st grade through graduation in '69. He was a great friend and will be missed by me, his classmates, and everyone. What an example of service and friendship his life was! Having grown up at 523 Pleasant St, I was delighted when Frank moved across the street. My Dad, Leland Kirkland Sr. was so grateful for Frank's friendship. He always had a story about Frank and how much his friendship meant to him. God Bless You! Eric & Randi Kirkland”
