Carter of South Hill; his nephew Benjamin Cole of South Hill; his great-nephews, Stanley of South Hill, Steven Stanley (Vonda) of South Hill and Matthew Stanley of South Hill; his grandchildren, Jonathan Stanley, Ethan Stanley, Nicole Stanley and Morgan Stanley (Martha); his aunt Estelle Brown; his cousins, Kenneth Brown, Mary Brown (Wendell) and Robert Brown; his close friends, Roger'Bug'Brown, Charlie Thompson, Glenn Brown and Bruce Brown; and his brother-in-law David Brown.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Crews Funeral Home (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
