Jean Lowry Stewart wrote a sympathy message

“Met Ruth when I moved to Richmond/Chesterfield area from Chesapeake Va. We were single , young worked at Martin Chevrolet on Semmes Ave.. We had so many good times. That included Mary Alice Miles, Sheffie and I had met Durwood and Mary. I could not have adjusted to this boring life in Richmond without them, I still do not like Richmond. Neil was Ruhr's love of her life. All that have passed have been missed.”
