He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jackson Hawthorne; his daughter Sandy Hawthorne (William Simon); his grandchildren, Tyler Cothran (Jessica), Karlee Cothran (David), Hunter Cothran (Breanna) and Noah Simon; his sister Ginna H. Wilson (Bill Huskey); Dustin Cothran, Preston Cothran and Oaklynn Cothran. He is also survived by his family and his friends.
