He was predeceased by: his father Elbert Stanley McGarvey, Jr.; and his siblings, John McGarvey and Barbara Anne Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl McGarvey; his children, Jeremy McGarvey (Anna) of Chesterfield, Zachary McGarvey of Mechanicsville, Josh McGarvey (Dani Carrier) of Chesterfield and Kem Martin (Bob) of Sebastian, Florida; his mother Lillian B. McGarvey of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Bryant McGarvey, Ashton Meade, Morgan McGarvey and Drew McGarvey; and his brothers, Michael McGarvey of Mount Airy and Daniel McGarvey of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by pets and many dear friends.
