It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Merrick Semple Sr. (South Hill, Virginia), who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Cheryl Ann Thackston Semple. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Semple; his sons, Robert M. Semple, Jr. (Lisa), Samuel Shell Semple and William; and his grandchildren, Merrick, Noah, Will and Alex.
In lieu of flowers , donations would be greatly appreciated if they were made to Sardis United Methodist Church for future charitable projects.
