She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee and Lorene Jordan Martin; her brother Robert James; her husband Wesley Ronald Smith; and her daughter Angela Constance Smith (Jeff Edmonds).

She is survived by: her brothers, James Martin (Linda) and Mike Martin (Annie); and her siblings' children, Chuck Martin (Judy), Jana Thompson (Buddy), Mary Ratcliff (Steve), Teresa Vandervander, Karen Jensen (Curt), Chris Martin (Lynn), Kevin Martin (Mandy) and Karen Friedel (Brian).

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Crosse Cemetery.
